You are allowed to create one team call group that can answer your direct calls in your absence. This is useful in back end support roles or departments where people share responsibility but do not have any shared numbers.
To create your call group go to Settings and the Calls tab (Press CTRL + , or Command + , to open settings)
Under call answering rules from any of the drop downs select “Call Group”

You can add up to 20 people to your group. These can only be internal Teams users, not external phone numbers.

You can also choose the ring order. The default is all at the same time so the first person to accept gets the call. Or you can choose in the order they appear in the list.
Once saved you can then choose the call group as forwarding or simultaneous ringing destinations.
